Please note that the first figure displayed within each box refers to the distance in kilometres, and the second figure the estimated time to allow for that distance.
For instance, Auckland to Wellington is a distance of 658 kilometres,with an estimated travelling time of 9 hours and 15 minutes.
The driving distances stated are based on a safe driving speed within the speed limit, allowing for rest breaks at regular intervals.
Please allow extra time for bad weather and unexpected delays.
